Publication Ethics

International Journal of Computing Algorithm [IJCOA] is a peer-reviewed bi-annual journal that publishes high-quality papers on all aspects of Computing Algorithm. The primary objective of International Journal of Computing Algorithm [IJCOA] is to be an authoritative portal for sharing theoretical and innovative research findings in computing algorithm concepts, invented algorithms and its implementations.

All manuscripts are subjected to peer review process and those of high quality (which are not previously published and are not under consideration for publication by another journal) would be published without any delay in subsequent issue. Online submission of the manuscript is strongly recommended. A manuscript number will be mailed to the corresponding author within five working days .

Submission of a manuscript indicates a tacit understanding that the paper is not under consideration for publication with other journals. If copyrighted material is used, the author should obtain the necessary copyright release and submit it along with the manuscript.
All papers will be acknowledged and refereed. The review process is double-blind; that is, the reviewer does not know who the manuscript author(s) is and the author(s) does not know who has reviewed the manuscript.

IJCOA Peer Review Process

The peer-review process is a critical aspect of the publication process for academic journals. It is a process in which experts in the field, known as peer reviewers, evaluate the quality, relevance, and validity of a manuscript submitted for publication. The goal of peer review is to ensure that only high-quality, original, and scientifically sound research is published. The process typically follows these steps:

  • The manuscript is submitted to the journal, and the editor assesses its suitability for the journal's scope and guidelines.

  • The editor selects appropriate reviewers, usually 2 or 3 experts in the field, to evaluate the manuscript.

  • The reviewers are sent the manuscript and asked to provide their evaluation within a certain time frame, usually 2 to 4 weeks.

  • The reviewers provide their evaluation, which includes comments and suggestions for improvement. The reviews are usually anonymous, to ensure impartiality.

  • The editor makes a decision based on the reviews, which can be one of the following: accept, accept with minor revisions, accept with major revisions, or reject.

  • If the manuscript is accepted with revisions, the authors are asked to make the necessary changes and resubmit the manuscript.

  • The revised manuscript is sent back to the reviewers for final approval.

  • Once the manuscript is accepted, it will go through the copyediting and proofreading process.

  • The article is then typeset, and the authors will receive proofs for final review.

  • After the final corrections, the article is scheduled for publication.
